Centre Processes

Different centres may have specific requirements for their game day/casual players.

Previously, if the centres requires a player to be recorded in the app they were required to i) be registered on the official Netball Registration form with their club/school, and, ii) be allocated to a team. There is the ability for the Centre to allow game day players to be added directly to the team. Please see this support article that explains the process.

The Casual/Game Day Player process can differ depending on the centre. A number of centres do follow the process below where they ask the game day players to register (and may or may not charge them) as they want to include them in the app.

Some Centres charge a fee for game day players. If this is a requirement for your Centre, below is a suggested process.

• On game day or any day prior to game day (depending on your regulations), the casual player will complete a Late Player form. This can be created by the Centre as a local online form that is displayed on the Centre website with payment required
  
• The player is then directed to complete the official registration form for their club/school by going to the Club/School list page on their Centre website.
• Once they do this the player will be registered for that club/school in TeamBuilder but will not be allocated to a team. If they are not allocated to a team they won't be visible to be selected in the app.
• The centre, via SuperCRM can then move that player into their team. See this support article.
• Once the player is in the team they will be visible via the mobile app to be chosen to play and put into a position
• In addition, the Centre can apply a Tag (see this support article) to the player in SuperCRM
• Use notes field to record on profile who/when they played as casual (this will also be recorded on Game Events report)

Some centres require teams to submit the name of the team member who umpired the game. For example Old Girls Senior A is the team allocated to score, and Jane Doe is the team member who actually umpires the game.  Previously the name of the umpire was written on the team card. In this case, the name of the umpire can be submitted as a comment when the final score is entered.

For the Centre

Simply run the Consolidated Teams Report. The output is an excel file of all teams entered into the competition (listed by club/school and grade) and their scorer code.

For clubs/schools

In TeamBuilder either click into a team to see the scorer code (in the bottom right hand corner of the team) or click the Export Teams to export a list of all teams and their scorer codes.

Remember, scorer codes are unique and are letters only. Each season a team will have a new scorer code.

There is the ability for Centres to generate fee invoices through Xero and MYOB.
